Racism or Ignorance

I was not shocked but appalled by the incident that happened on the West High School bus. A young man who needed a seat on the bus was beaten mercilessly by not one but two students. No one on the bus seemed bothered by it. They just looked, gasped, and laughed. The bus driver did nothing!! I read the news story and it said that they believed that the incident was racially motivated. Racially Motivated???? I think not!!! And why did the newspaper have to tell the race of the young men involved. The incident involved one white (victim) male, and two black males(fighters). But in this story I don't think it mattered what color the young men involved were! This is an issue of wrong and right not black and white. The young men that beat up that other young man was wrong and should be punished to the extent of the law. But not because of their race but because of their ignorance. Being a parent of a high school, school bus rider I couldn't watch it. But if you think you can stomach it click on the link to see the incident for yourself.
